One good ploy is to eat little and often, to make sure you are constantly topping up blood sugar. Obviously (and unfortunately) I don't mean eating large meals continually – that approach would lead you to forgetting what your toes look like. Instead, I'm talking about a good breakfast, a light midmorning snack, a good lunch, a midafternoon snack, and finally a good dinner. (See my example day's eating at the bottom of this article.) |
